Total Vision Care from a Team You Trust
Take a moment to think about all the ways you use your vision throughout the day: driving to work, watching a movie, playing baseball with the kids. You rely on your vision all day long, but how do you know if your eyes are working their best?
As you grow older, your eyes change in several ways. In some cases, these changes can affect your vision and eye health, making it harder for you to see clearly. Regular, comprehensive eye exams can help monitor these changes, allowing our team an opportunity to catch problems before they can damage your vision.

Why Are Eye Exams Important?
The first step toward managing your vision and eye health is with a comprehensive eye exam.
Eye exams can provide you with a lens prescription and help your optometrist get a unique look into your overall health and detect various eye diseases or conditions before they can affect your vision.
A proactive approach to your eye health is essential for protecting and preserving your vision. Many eye diseases can develop without noticeable symptoms. But over time, these issues can have a permanent effect on your eyes, changing your vision quality and eye health forever.
How Do We Help?
It’s important to know what you can expect from your eye exam appointment. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our office!
Initial Conversation
During the exam, our doctor will ask you about your and your family’s health history, as well as take note of any medication you may be taking. Our goal is to deliver a comfortable, comprehensive, and customized eye care experience, so please feel free to ask any questions or stress any concerns you may have about the appointment or your eyes.
Once we confirm your health history is correct and up to date, we will move forward with the rest of the exam.
Visual Acuity Testing
Visual acuity testing is just another way to say we’re testing how sharp your vision is. Using some tried and tested techniques and tools, we can determine your lens prescription.
This process is important if you wish to start wearing glasses or contact lenses or if you want to update your prescription.
Eye Health Screening
Every eye exam we perform involves comprehensive eye health testing. During this process, we’ll take a detailed look at your eyes to determine the existence of eye diseases or conditions that could affect your vision.
Using leading-edge eye care technology, we can detect and diagnose:
Finishing Up
At the end of your eye exam, we’ll provide you with our findings, recommendations, and prescriptions. Depending on what you’re looking for, we can start a contact lens fitting at this point or help you look for fashionable frames in our eyewear gallery.
